The Greater Houston Coffee Association’s 2019 Annual Luncheon will be held on October 15, 2019, at the Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport.
The keynote speaker is Aldo Annese,Director of I&D of Aurora Studio Project, a best practice authentication program for business processes in Guatemala.
Mr. Annese was born in Guatemala and completed high school
in Kansas. He began his career in the family business of footwear
manufacturing, before obtaining his undergraduate degree and forming the Aldo
Nero brand of footwear and accessories. Following his Masters degree at
University of Barcelona, Mr. Annese became an entrepreneur, starting new
companies and reengineering others.
After a health scare gave him a new perspective on life, Mr.
Annese and his wife, Lucia, developed the M.A.C. (Mind – Soul – Body)
philosophy in the Aurora Studio Project at Cepaglobal to do good, from seed to
cup, in the coffee industry. He is working with small coffee farmers to implement
business processes to empower them to sell their own coffee at fair prices.
Mr. Annese is an advisor to young entrepreneurs, a Director of Focus in the Family LATAM, former President of the Chamber of Tourism of Santa Ana, Costa Rica, and a managing director of several successful companies in the food, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate development, chemical, and coffee industries.
