The following changes will be effective June 26, 2023. Import Dwell Fees will not be charged on days Port Houston container terminal gates are closed. In addition, the new rate for the Import Dwell Fee is $59.52.
Sustained Import Dwell Fee
Commencing on the eighth day after the expiration of free time (whether the commencement of such free time predates the effective date of the Sustained Import Dwell Fee), any such unit will be charged $59.52 per Gate Day.
“Gate Days” refers to all days other than days when Terminal truck gates are closed for scheduled terminal closures.
